Programs: Stay & Play
This transitional program meets twice weekly and is led by a preschool teacher and an assistant teacher. At Stay and Play, parents are present during the class in order to help bridge the transfer of the child’s trust to the teacher. The children learn to follow the routine of a shortened school day; they participate in two structured group times; and join in conversation at the snack table.
At Stay and Play, the focus is on language development and beginning social skills as the children enjoy special time with their teacher and the other children. This class also allows children to become familiar with the classrooms and the play yard at our Ocean Park site.
Ages: 2 years 4 months – 2 years 9 months
Group Meetings: Two days each week: 2-hour class
Tuition: $100/per week
